Capturing a
July 8th, 1992 concert at The Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, Glenn's first
live
release since 1980's Eagles Live reprises many an Eagles classic,
generously mixed in with a wide
cross-section of Glenn's solo albums. Touring in support of Strange
Weather, four of
the tracks are from that CD, and, in a nod to the local music and
culture, Glenn performs Bert
Jansch's lovely, lilting "Wild Mountain Thyme", an enthusiastic crowd
singing right along.
Dublin
audiences really work for their encores, and in this case, their hard
work pays off
beautifully. Desperado, respendent with gospel piano and passionate
vocalwork, surely left the
members of that audience feeling that the following morning's hoarseness
was well worth it.
