In addition, another Longbranch Pennywhistle song, "I Can't Believe It" was used in the 1971 movie, Vanishing Point. The soundtrack album was released on Amos, and is now out-of-print, however the Longbranch Pennywhistle song only appeared in the movie, which is still available.

Was and is a legendary steel guitar player in Nashville.

Doug Kershaw (guitar, vocals)

Is world reknowned for his Cajun fiddle.

Ry Cooder (guitar)

Master musician and composer of film scores with an amazing range of styles and credentials.

James Burton (guitar)

Played lead guitar for Elvis. 'Nuff said? Sure, but there is more to say. Check him out.

James Gordon (drums)

Drummer for Derek and the Dominoes. Played piano in second part of "Layla". Later would be a member of the Souther Hillman Furay Band. There is a chapter about Gordon in the Pamela DesBarres book, Rock Bottom.

Larry Knechtel (piano)

Hardworking L.A. sessionsman.

Joe Osborn (bass)

More of same. You hear these two guys on your radio all day long, and don't even know it.
